What is Citrus Sudachi Peel Extract?
Sudachi is a citrus fruit of an evergreen broad-leaf tree in the Rutaceae family, native to Tokushima Prefecture in Japan. Sudachi is a citrus fruit with refreshing astringency and bitterness, and Sudachi peel contains a unique polyphenol called sudachitin. Peels of citrus fruits are shown to have antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.
