Absolutely not. We use ingredients for their skin benefits, and any sensory benefits are an added extra! This cream is blended with Damask Rose (the ‘Queen of Roses’) almost in its entirety: Flower Extract, Flower Wax, Flower Water and Flower Oil. As well as the skin-conditioning and moisturising benefits these ingredients bring, it bursts with the sweet and elegant fragrance of Damask Rose.

The cream is rich and nourishing, but not overly heavy. Many customers comment on how light it feels on the skin, despite its rich hydration. If you try it and are not completely satisfied, please contact our customer service team!

Not at all! Although it was originally designed as a winter cream, depending on your skin type you may benefit from the super-hydrating Rose Absolute all year round. Many people also find the nourishing blend of Shea Butter and fragrant Damask Rose exceptional as a night cream.

Our paper packaging is made entirely from Colorful Wish®, a special recycled paper created from thousands of origami cranes offered in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Each crane is folded by someone, somewhere, wishing for peace.

If you look closely inside the box, you’ll see tiny flecks of color in the paper — those are real pieces of the cranes themselves, still visible in the fibers. Each one carries a part of someone’s heartfelt wish.
